There’s a heartbreaking reality of displaced children who are living in a garbage dump outside of Bangkok. 

After fleeing from their home country with their families, these kids experience extreme poverty—and their future prospects were bleak.

But because of people like you, a special Christmas program was offered for the children. 

They played games, listened to Christmas stories, and enjoyed delicious food that nourished their bodies. It brought so much joy to the children to be able to enjoy something special for Christmas and made the season that much more meaningful!

A significant barrier for these children and their potential future is language. Without speaking Thai, they are not eligible to attend classes and they are extremely limited in options when they get older. 

But because of your compassion, these children have been continuing to learn Thai. They’re practicing every day because they’re so proud of the progress they’re making! One of our partners was incredibly encouraged to see how engaged these children are in learning a new language. 

Your kindness has given these kids an opportunity they desperately need, and they’re determined to succeed!

Your generosity is completely changing the trajectory of these children’s lives. Many of them have only ever seen their parents working in the dump as they sort through trash and look for items that can be sold.
